After almost 10 years of running dotmaui.com, it’s time to announce that the project is coming to an end. dotmaui.com and all its services are now in the process of being shut down.
dotmaui.com has always been an ad-free platform, and thanks to the support of premium users, we were able to cover part of the server costs. However, it has never been a profitable business—certainly not enough to justify working on it full time.
This has been a rewarding and exciting journey, but unfortunately, it’s no longer possible for me to keep the project alive. The reasons are simple and honest:

Over time, all the other team members—who were already few to begin with—have stepped away from the project due to life commitments and lack of time. I am now the only person left maintaining the site.

Even I, as the last remaining developer and creator of dotmaui.com, no longer have the time to properly maintain and develop it. I can only dedicate a few minutes each week, which is far from enough to run a project like this.

Most of the limited time I have is spent fighting spam and trying to block users who attempt to abuse the services for malicious purposes, rather than improving the platform or building new features.
I want to sincerely thank all of you—whether free users or premium subscribers—for your support throughout the years. Your feedback and enthusiasm have meant a lot to me.
The services will remain online for a little while longer, but I strongly encourage you to switch to alternative solutions as soon as possible.
